Our mission:
We acknowledge that gender is complicated, so while this is not an exhaustive list of groups we serve, we wish to expressly welcome folks from the competitive gaming community who are nonbinary, agender, third gender, two-spirit, trans-nonbinary, genderfluid, genderqueer, intersex, bigender, and polygender into our spaces. We wish to also invite folks who do not fit neatly into any particular labels around gender, as well as folks who reject gender altogether, to join our community. In addition to our focus on supporting folks with marginalized gender identities, Binary Breakers expressly serves those who are involved in competitive gaming (e.g. speedruns, bingos, randomizers, etc.), and/or work to support competitive gaming events (e.g. hosts, tech team, moderators, etc.).At this time, membership is restricted to those who identify within both aspects of this scope.
What we look for in new community members:
Folks who self-identify as being within our mission scope.
folks who are part of the competitive gaming and events scene.
Folks who are at least 18 years of age, and in good standing on twitch.

Announcing: HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2025!

We are pleased to announce our 2nd annual charity marathon, HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Scheduled for December 4-7th, this event proudly benefits Lavender Rights Project, and aims to raise $3,000 USD in support of their programs and services. Run submissions and volunteer applications will be open from September 1st through October 5th, 2025.
Submission Guidelines:
This event is intended to spotlight content from creators who are between, outside, and beyond the gender binary. Speedruns of any length will be considered for selection; game showcases should be limited to 90 minutes or less. Those who are chosen to participate should anticipate meeting a PG-13 standard.
More on our charity:
“Lavender Rights Project is a Black Trans feminist organization committed to dismantling oppressive systems that disproportionately harm Black communities. We believe that those most impacted by injustice are the architects of liberation, and we ground our work in their lived experiences, resilience, and leadership. Through policy and legal advocacy, movement lawyering, community organizing, and wraparound supportive housing, we build pathways to justice, empowerment, and systemic change.”
